Nemi Okujagu is a survey specialist at the World Bank with extensive experience in program coordination, data production, and stakeholder engagement. She has worked with national and international organizations, including the United Nations, FAO and Nigeria’s National Bureau of Statistics, leading survey design, organizing high-profile data launches, and securing significant donor funding for national statistical projects. With close to 20 years of expertise in project and survey management, communication strategies, and policy planning, Ms. Okujagu is dedicated to advancing evidence-based decision-making at both national and global levels
My Passion for the Mission
Nemi is deeply committed to Gray and Angel’s mission of providing refuge and restoration for women who have survived trafficking. She believes every woman deserves dignity, safety, and the opportunity to rebuild her life, and is honored to support an organization that offers both immediate care and long-term empowerment. As Secretary of the Board, Nemi brings her dedication to advocacy, compassion, and community service to help advance this critical work.
Experience
Nemi Okujagu is an experienced nonprofit consultant who has supported and advised several non-governmental organizations in her home country of Nigeria. Her most recent project was starting Literacy Instruction for Empowerment (LIFE), an NGO dedicated to providing literacy and empowerment skills to non-literate women in a community just outside the capital city of Abuja.
