My Passion for the Mission
I have been interested in human trafficking since high school. I used to watch specific programs about the issue and felt a strong desire to help survivors. My volunteering experience at the DC Rape Crisis Center and various domestic violence agencies exposed me to the cycle of abuse and the impact of trauma on survivors. I am excited about the opportunity to use my experience to assist women in getting the help they need, enabling them to become self-sufficient without having to rely on sex work.
